1. You have stated that Picture of Dorian Grey is one of your favorite books. If you were a character in the book, who would you be and why? -Lycia
Well, the book really has no hero.. Everyone is flawed and tragic, not to mention being closet homosexuals. But I admire lord henry's wit and persuit of pleasure.
2. Does the band ever plan to release a DVD or anything. That Road Rage video got me to thinking how great it would be to have a Tour DVD with all that kind of crazy stuff on it. -Rob
(Kelly Hageman wanted me to ask you a similar question about if you guys are going to do a DVD, she said she can hook you up with a videographer that she knows.)
bring it on. we have about 80 hours of tour footage.. real mature stuff... wrestling, drinking, pranks. the success of Jackass proves that there must be an audience for it.any interested videographer should approach our management. (stevehutton@earthlink.net)
3. What would you say are KH's most memorable moments of 2003? -Dori
i have such selective amnesia. i still fumble when anyone asks, "so, how was your weekend?" i'm always like, "uhhhhhhh. (blank stare+blink+blink) FINE."that said, all that comes to mind is the HOB show, the few big arena shows, and the smile on my face when i come home.
4. KH has so many great songs. There is ample room on "For Ever and Ever" for several additional tracks. Do you regret not adding more songs onto the album? -Mateusz
that is a wild name. are you from the future?the answer is - i dont know. at this moment i regret 'goodnight goodbye' not making the cut, but if it ends up going big on a soundtrack next year, then i'll change my mind. final song selection was a real difficult process.
5. Listening to Kill Hannah from old to new one can hear the advances in your singing and tone. You have such intensity in your voice now that anyone listening can cleary feel the the emotion come alive. Is there any point in your singing career that you personally felt unsatisfied with your performance or when you felt like you reached the status you are at now? -Carlos
i had a 'breakthrough' when we demo'd 'unwanted' with sean beavan in 2002. he demanded that i \ sing without the breathy overtones that marked all our previous recordings. i'm like "i sound dry and boring. i sound like oasis." he's like, "trust me." so it did, and it opened up a new world for me vocally. i'm still an embarrasment to the art of singing, and i fit wonderfully in to the 'novice' category, but i am improving.
