Out of the bands that you guys have opened for or have played with over the years, who was your favorite and why?
i think all the guys have their favorites, but mine was Janes Addiction in Dallas last year. -because i've been waiting 15 years to see them live, and i was mesmerized.
In the song "race the dream" you refer to "glass menagerie". Did you get theidea from the tennessee williams play of the same name, and if so what doyou think of it?
i remember reading a short story by that name when i was in grade school (was it by T williams?) .. and all i remember is how fragile these things were.
In your opinion, which came first: the chicken or the egg?
the egg.. but it wasn't hard and white. the very first one, a million years ago, was actually grayish and leathery. feathered birds are descendants of dinosaurs you know.

Almost everyone has had (or will have) a crappy job that they have to put up with just to get the bills paid. What were the worst job(s) that you or any of the other guys in the band have had?
when i was 16 my parents refused to buy the $300 drum machine that i wanted, so i took a job bagging groceries at Jewel for a month. light blue plaid tie and everything. my voice was changing so i never asked anyone if they wanted paper or plastic.. just decided for them.. got yelled at every day and eventually got fired for ghost-riding grocery carts into the wall at high speed. looking back it would have been a lot easier just to poison some one for the money.
