lately i'm into marc jacobs... but the arm sock idea came from Tank Girl comics.
what was the silliest or weirdest thing you used to do when you were a kid?
i used to climb on the roofs of all my neighbor's houses.Did you have any childhood experiences that helped influence the path you would take later in life?
my sister threw a big party at our house for all her thug boyfriends, and one skinhead showed me how to play a bar chord, and i was amazed at how easy it was.
the album art for FNAE is quite good, so i was wondering who some of your favorite visual artists are, and what kind of visual art do you like the most? (photography, painting, scuplture, etc.)
i'm more of a modernist at heart, so i have to be moved by the piece visually first, no matter what the medium. i can't look at a piece of shit and waste my time trying to decode the 'message'. art school kind of destroyed any patience i may have had for conceptual art. when i walk through the museum of the art institute i spend most of my time looking at the swords and suits of armor.
What are the the best and worst parts of touring?
worst: the fumes from the van, the long drives, shitty food, bad PA systemsbest: packed shows, meeting people, getting drunk
