Is there a song that you are not too proud of, or felt that it was released prematurely and underdeveloped?

there comes a time with every song when you have to decide if it's "done". george lucas says that his movies are never finished, they're just abandoned. i'm proud of all of our songs, and we are so obsessive over considerations in recording/releasing that thankfully i dont believe we've made the mistake of releasing an underdeveloped track yet.

Are you ever going to release acoustic recordings?

i hope so. we played a radio show in columbus ohio where we performed 'anyone here alive?" and i think it translated wonderfully.

Okay, so I've been reading through the tour journalsand you talk about meeting and hanging out with tonsof different musicians from AFI's Davey Havok (apersonal favorite) to Moby and the Dandy Warhols. Haveyou ever met someone that you've been a huge fan ofand acted all "fan boy"?

no. i dont think its possible anymore. i can be very aware of the strong presence that a lot of my heros have, and i can have tremendous respect for their work, but i know a little too much to be swept off my feet. -just comes with age i guess. wish it wasnt that way.
Heard any good jokes lately?

yeah. a homeless guy approached me on the sidewalk and asked me "did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? great food, but NO atmosphere"

What do you think is THE most over rated band of today?

every band formed after 1990.
